Charlotte Greenblatt Thomas Dechaufour Elia Aymon Alexis Rouve ![]() Charlotte Greenblatt, 23 years old. California. ESAC. Acrobat. Hand Balancing. She was born in San Diego, California, where she began studying ballet at the age of five. Since then she has never stopped dancing, and, while studying mathematics at the University of California at Berkeley, she performed with a number of contemporary dance companies in San Francisco. Charlotte discovered her passion for circus at the age of 21, and after completing her degree in math moved to Brussels to train full time. She is currently in her second year at ESAC, specializing in hand balancing. ![]() Thomas Dechaufour, 21 years old. France. ESAC. Acrobat. Chinese Pole. Thomas was born on April 4th 1986 in France. He started with circus at the age of 16 in Angers and then in Chambéry where he trained to later enter a professional circus school. There he discovered the Chinese pole, which is now his speciality. In December 2006 he entered the ESAC as a Chinese pole acrobat. He is currently in second year, working on Chinese pole in a trio. He has already performed in different companies and theatres, e.g. at the World circus Festival in Belo Horizonte, Brasil or with the Acrobatics Corpus Theater in Amsterdam. ![]() Elia Aymon 22 years old. Switzerland. ESAC. Aerial hoop. She did seven years of rhythmic gymnastics and then begun ballet at the conservatory. When she was fifteen, she started climbing on the hoop in Switzerland. After five years in a leisure circus school she moved to Torino to enter the “Scuola di circo Flic” and discovered the stage performance through big events like the closing ceremony of the olympic games and the para-olympic games and “Euroflora” in Genova. After this year in Italy her passion for the circus grew so she entered the “Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque” in Brussels.In december 2006, she auditioned for the “Cirque du Soleil” and is now on its list artists. ![]() Alexis Rouvre, ESAC. Acrobat and juggler. He started juggling at the age of 8, so it was an early vocation. At 18 he left Grenoble (France) and moved to Brussels where he studied drama and dance during a year. At that time he already had circus in mind. In 2006 he entered the ESAC. Now his work mainly focuses on ball juggling and acrobatics. |
